Castrol Classic XL30 is a premium SAE30 monograde oil. Â Formulated with high quality mineral oils, plus carefully selected additives, it is ideally suited to older technology and classic car and motorcycle engines. Contains additives to control varnish, give good anti-wear performance, and help prevent the build up of sludge.

Description
Monograde oils are suited to earlier engines that employ a traditional style gauze oil filter. They are also suitable for motorcycles fitted with roller main bearings. Castrol Classic XL30 has a balanced low detergent formulation that protects against gum and lacquer formation, but will not scour or wash carbon build-up in older engines. It is also compatible with materials traditionally used for seals such as cork, graphite and rope. It is well suited to low pressure gear driven oil pumps, providing effective splash and cling lubrication.
