Break-In Oil

VP 10W-40 Engine Break-In Oil is a unique, multi-viscosity oil.

The engine break-in process is extremely critical when putting together an engine.

We formulate it with a blend of high-quality conventional base stocks, ZDDP, Moly, and other additive chemistries.

It allows newly machined engines to properly finish seating and mating of machine engine parts.

 

The product benefits include:

• Conventional base stocks for enhanced film strength
• Shear stable viscosity index improver
• Will not impede ring sealing
• Formulated with ZDDP and Moly to aid wear control
• Provides ultimate protection for flat tappet, roller cam, push rods, cylinder walls, cam gears, pistons and other critical engine components during break-in process
• Use for initial 15-20 pulls/50-100 road miles
• Available in SAE 10W-40
